This year marks the first year which I celebrated Mother’s Day as a mother. Honestly it didn’t felt any much different from another normal day… Probably because I was recovering from a flu and Xi En was down with a fever. I had a tiring night with my mum trying to ensure xi en’s temperature was managed down. Didn’t had much time to think about Mother’s Day!

It simply came & went in a day but the real essence of motherhood continues day after day. It is only when I had a minute to pause and looked through Xi En’s photos that I am reminded motherhood is all worth it. 🙂
