Happy Fathers’ Day @ Botanic Gardens

It’s a belated post.

It’s our second time to the Jacob Ballas Children Garden. This time round we dated our KKH fellow “comrades” and celebrated Fathers’ Day together.

Coincidentally the last time we met up was also last year’s Father’s Day! Smile

The boys have grown a lot since then. They both have some uncanny resemblances as well. Smile

That’s Hao Hao:

That’s the younger one, Xi En:

And the men have aged (just a little lah). Haaa….

We had a good time catching up.

Sometimes getting together even without words give a sense of comfort– only the “comrades” understood the struggle we went through pregnancy and bringing up preemies.

But it’s also great comfort these 2 boys are now healthy and ermm….. haughty! Well… that’s boys for you right? Smile

The extra cheeky one proves to be……:

Yes, my boy.

Hao was all gentlemanly playing with sand tools and Xi En was all restlessly bouncing here and there.

Both boys love the water play too! Xi En has come a long way from disliking these water play areas.

It’s time to buy some proper swim clothes! Smile

Once again, Happy Fathers’ Day to these 2 wonderful, resilient and loving Daddies! Smile

Special thanks to Kim for being the pillar of support for us all these while! Smile

Day at the Beach

Xi En is beginning to love the East Coast Park (but not the Beach!).

It’s his BIG PLAYGROUND now.

We went there last week again. It’s the first time after Xi En can “fly with eagles’ wings” – i.e. run and run very fast!

We went with a picnic mat complete with breakfast. Smile :

Xi En ran and ran – quite far away from where we were. Now he still comes running back. In time to come – I hope he still runs back to Mummy…..

He was happy:

Actually very happy:

Decided to bring mummy’s slippers for a run too:

We tried to build a sandcastle:

That’s probably too ambitious. Only managed this:

Because Xi En still do not like the feel of sand and sea water underneath his feet:

Managed some nicer shots of with Mummy and Daddy:

We will be B.A.C.K! Wait for us – Sun, Sea and SAND! Smile Smile
