On my birthday which was long ago in May, we decided to try VeganBurg for dinner. That’s because Xi En was unwell and thus we decided to do takeaways.

VeganBurg is a new concept fast food joint; except it boast of organic, fresher and of course vegan ingredients.

It is easily accessible whether you drive or take public transport. It is located just opposite the Eunos MRT station. Car parking options at the premise are a little limited but no issue if you sit at the alfresco area and keep watch on your car! Open-mouthed smile

I like the clean-cut look of the place.

Prices here are still affordable – similar to a meal at Carl’s Junior.

I love the big-cut fries and the juices which came with the set meal! Though they aren’t freshly-squeezed juices, they are definitely much healthier than your regular Coke. Smile

When you eat in, they actually serve the meal in a mess tin! Reminds me of camping days in school! Youthful concept and easy to clean up. Smile

These are the take away boxes for kiddy meals

Think Fast Food is Junk Food? Think Again:

Overall I was very satisfied on my first take-away visit. My second visit was a few days later for Mother’s Day celebration. Probably an over load of vegan food for a few days; I felt that the first visit was better.

Warning: the burgers are huge. So 2 not-so-hungry adults can share one meal. Smile

They have delivery options too; though it is too pricey in my opinion to pay for the delivery fee. Nonetheless, I think it’s a place worth a visit when you are in the mood for some healthy fast food. Smile

Birthday cum wedding anniversary gift

Blogging with my new toy. My birthday-cum-wedding anniversary present from hubby! 🙂
It’s totally sleek & addictive! Still exploring it! Total applefied these days – with a Macpro, iPhone & now ipad2 – at home.

Cool! 🙂

5th Wedding Anniversary

We are married for 5 years. Park Tor (dated) for close to 9 years. So in total we knew each other for 14 years! But for us, it seems just yesterday that we were in junior college. Smile

Ok… enough of self deceit in pretending to be young. Smile with tongue out

Our wedding anniversary is 29th April 2006. The British Royal couple (Will & Kate) decided it’s an auspicious date to get married too! haaa.. It’s interesting. Smile

We spent a day out at the Sentosa Universal Studio. Every year before Xi En come along, we had been spending our anniversary-cum-my-birthday overseas. This is the 3rd year we did not travel. It had been sooooo long….That’s another story anyway.

It’s good to spend a weekday out there with Kim.

Singapore Universal Studio is nice; just not as big and entertaining as the The Walt Disney World in Orlando. We did all the usual rides save the frightening ones (read: exciting for Kim). I decided my old heart can’t take it anymore like the younger days.

Had lots of fun in the scorching sun! That’s me after the heart-in-your-mouth roller coaster ride; no more please….:

I went back to look at some old photos – of the days when we visited the Orlando Universal Studio and The Walt Disney World. Interesting to see how we have changed!

That’s us in Resort World Universal Studio 2011:

That’s us in The  Walt Disney World, Orlando 2005:

Please forgive our weird hairstyles! haaaa….

That’s us in Resort World Universal Studio 2011; in 3-D glasses:

And that’s us in Orlando 2005; in 3-D glasses again!:

haaa… lovely photos huh. Smile

We ended the day at Brotzeit at Vivocity.

Love the beer and the pork knuckle!

And some ice-cream for sweet endings:

Smile Dear… as we grow old together. Smile Happy 5th Wedding Anniversary!
